Meet Dr. Alan Robbins

Dr. Alan Robbins grew up in Roanoke, Virginia, and earned his undergraduate degree in biology from Roanoke College. He later earned his D.D.S. from the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond. After completing his schooling, Dr. Robbins served 3 years as an officer in the Army as an army dentist, where he was stationed in Honolulu, Hawaii. In 1988, Dr. Robbins left the Army and moved with his wife and son from Hawaii to the small town of Timberville, Virginia, where he bought his dental practice.

Today, Dr. Robbins has three grown sons and lives on a farm in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley. He has been serving Timberville and the surrounding areas for over 25 years as their friendly family dentist. Dr. Robbins is a member of The Virginia Dental Association and The American Dental Association.

Our Staff

The staff at Dr. Robbins' office is friendly and experienced and is happy to help you achieve a healthy, beautiful smile. The office staff are warm and welcoming to all their new and returning patients. Expect a friendly environment to help you feel comfortable when you visit. Most staff have over 20 years experience and are always up to date on the latest dental practices and techniques. You are in good, reliable hands when you come in for a visit.

• Dr. Alan Robbins: Dr. Robbins has been Timberville's dentist for over 25 years. He earned his bachelor's in biology from Roanoke College and his D.D.S. from The Medical College of Virginia, after which he served 3 years as an army dentist. Dr. Robbins is a member of The Virginia Dental Association and attends the yearly conference where he learns the latest in dental practices and procedures.
• Julie Moomaw, RDH: Julie Moomaw graduated as a Dental Hygienist from East Tennessee State University in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene. Julie has been with Robbins Family Dentistry since 2005.
