We are an independently owned dental practice that has been providing personalized dental care to families since 1970. Our team of experienced professionals is dedicated to ensuring that every patient receives the highest quality care while making them feel welcome and comfortable. We have a diverse staff that is fluent in Polish, Ukrainian, Romanian, and Spanish, and we offer early morning, evening, and Saturday appointments to accommodate our patients' busy schedules.

Our Doctors

At Dental Care Professionals, our doctors are highly qualified and experienced in the field of dentistry.

• Dr. James Stipak is a graduate of Loyola University School of Dentistry and has been practicing for many years. He is very passionate about dental education and has served as a teaching office for the Dental Assisting program at Triton and Wright Junior Colleges. Dr. Stipak is an active member of the dental community and has received fellowships from the Academy of General Dentistry, American College of Dentists, International College of Dentists, Federation of Dentere International, and the Pierre Fauchard Academy. He and his wife, MaryAnne, have three grown children and four grandchildren.
• Dr. Tara Culligan is a graduate of the University of Illinois Chicago College of Dentistry. She first joined Dental Care Professionals in 2002 as a Dental Assistant to Dr. Berni and has been with the practice ever since. Dr. Culligan is an active member of the Chicago Dental Society, Illinois State Dental Society, and American Dental Association. She enjoys talking to children about the importance of oral health and visits area schools each February for Children's Dental Health Month. Dr. Culligan is originally from Green Bay, Wisconsin, and has a daughter and two dogs.
• Dr. David Berni is a graduate of Loyola University School of Dentistry and has completed an additional year of training in a postgraduate dental internship with the Veterans Administration. Dr. Berni treats all disciplines of dentistry and places a high emphasis on patient satisfaction. He is an active member of the dental community and has served as a teaching office for the Dental Assisting program at Triton College.
