Meet Our Dentists
Dr. Christina Van Guilder is the owner of Dakota Family Dentistry and a graduate of the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. She is passionate about providing comprehensive dental care to her patients and is committed to staying up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in dentistry. Dr. Van Guilder is a member of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, American Dental Association, Minnesota Dental Association, and St. Paul District Dental Society. She is also an active member and Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, a Fellow with the Great Lakes Implant Institute, an Associate Fellow with the World Clinical Laser Institute, and a Master Provider with Fast Braces. Dr. Van Guilder is on faculty with The Implant Pathway and resides in Cottage Grove with her husband and three children.
Dr. Rachel Pfahning grew up in a rural town in Minnesota and earned her Bachelor of Arts in Biology at the College of Saint Benedict. She attended the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry where she graduated with High Distinction and received the "Omicron Kappa Upsilon Award" for her academic achievements. Dr. Pfahning is passionate about giving patients a smile they're proud to wear and is a member of the American Dental Association and the Minnesota Dental Association. She resides in Farmington with her husband and enjoys traveling, golfing, hiking, hunting, fishing, and spending time with her niece and nephews.
