Meet Dr. Mitra Pandya

Dr. Mitra Pandya is a board-certified pediatric dentist who has created a fun and friendly environment for families and children. She is grateful to be part of such a wonderful community and is committed to providing the highest quality of dental care for her patients. Dr. Pandya understands the importance of starting children off with a positive dental experience at an early age and strives to make every visit comfortable and enjoyable for her patients.
Education and Training

Dr. Pandya completed her doctorate at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine and then went on to complete a one-year post-doctoral residency in Hospital Dentistry at Loyola University Medical Center. She then completed her specialty training in pediatric dentistry at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry, where she also earned a Master's in Oral Sciences for her research on the management of traumatic dental injuries in children. In 2011, Dr. Pandya became a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
Work Experience

Since finishing her training, Dr. Pandya has worked exclusively on children's dental needs in both private practice and operative settings. She and her husband moved to Houston from Chicago in 2013, and Dr. Pandya continued to gain experience in pediatric care issues ranging from the routine to the complex. In 2016, Dr. Pandya opened Riverstone Pediatric Dentistry, fulfilling a long-time dream of establishing her own community practice.
