Where gentle care meets quality dentistry.

At Treasured Smiles Pediatric Dentistry, our mission is to provide comprehensive dental care to children in a fun and comforting environment. Our team of experienced professionals is dedicated to helping young patients develop good oral hygiene habits and a healthy smile.

About Our Team

Our team is led by Dr. Carola De La Cruz, a board-certified pediatric dentist with extensive training in pediatric dentistry. Dr. De La Cruz received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Howard University College of Dentistry and further specialized in pediatric dentistry at Rutgers State University of New Jersey. She is a proud member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and Virginia Society of Pediatric Dentistry.

Our Services

At Treasured Smiles, we offer a range of services designed to meet the unique needs of children. Our services include:

Dental Education and Disease Prevention

We believe that education is key to maintaining good oral health. Our team will teach your children the importance of brushing, flossing, and regular dental check-ups to prevent tooth decay, gum disease, and other dental problems.

Dental Cleanings

Our dental cleanings are designed to remove plaque and tartar from teeth, helping to prevent cavities and gum disease. We use a gentle and thorough approach to ensure your child's comfort and confidence.

Dental X-Rays

We use advanced technology to take digital X-rays, which are safe and comfortable for children. These X-rays help us detect hidden dental structures, cavities, and other oral health issues.

Pulp Therapy

Also known as a "baby root canal, " pulp therapy is a procedure to remove damaged or painful nerve tissue inside a tooth.

Dental Exams

Our dental exams are designed to check the overall health of your child's mouth, including teeth, gums, and jawbone. We use a variety of methods to make the exam comfortable and stress-free.

Fluoride Treatment

We offer fluoride treatments to strengthen teeth and prevent tooth decay.

Dental Fillings

Our dental fillings are designed to remove decay and replace the affected tooth structure with a bonded tooth-colored composite resin filling.

Dental Extractions

In some cases, a tooth may need to be removed due to extensive decay, injury, or other oral health issues.

Our Philosophy

At Treasured Smiles, we believe that regular dental care is essential for a lifetime of good oral health. Our team is dedicated to providing a fun and welcoming environment for children of all ages.
