At Parkwood Dental Associates, we believe that every individual and family, regardless of age, should have a personal dentist who cares about their overall well-being. Our mission is to establish connectivity in patient care by using the whole picture of a patient's history and health to inform our dental care. Meet Our Team

Our team is more than just a group of dental professionals; we are a family that grows with each new patient we see. Our team includes Dr. Todd Sander, who is a graduate of The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, the School of Dentistry at Temple University, and a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency with the US Army at Fort Jackson, SC. He completed three years of active duty with the US Army Dental Corps and served in Iraq for 11 months. Dr. Sander has completed more than 450 hours of postgraduate training at the Pankey Institute for Advance Dental Education and is one of only three dentists in the Charleston area to hold such a distinction.

Our team also includes Nicci Dickens, our Patient Care Coordinator, who has several years of experience in dental insurance and customer care. We have dental assistants, including Susan Taulbee, who has been a dental assistant for over 25 years and is passionate about advanced dentistry, and Suzanne Chaffin, who loves helping others and enjoys the outdoors. Kaitlyn, our dental hygienist, is grateful to be able to do what she loves in the city she grew up in. Lastly, Angie Glover, our dental assistant, is a 1994 graduate of Trident Technical College and is certified in Dental Assisting, Radiology, and Coronal Polishing.
